WATERfall
WATERfall

The rush of water over a cliff is beautiful, powerful, and dangerous. Human consumption has polluted our waterways and oceans to the point where plastics and water are inseparable. While the plastic bottle has become an iconic symbol of waste and potential for conservation efforts, the relentless stream of recyclables overwhelms our ability to process them. WATERfall highlights the hidden danger that plastics present as they fragment into pieces, creating microplastics that allow them to integrate seamlessly with their environment, and the monumental effort required to reverse the tide.

This art installation mockup of an immersive space was prepared for a call for submissions for Yonge + St. Clair.
